Double Fun Offered by New BBC Radio Scotland Drama

A drama from BBC Radio Scotland's that can be heard on the radio and then played – as a game – on computer received its first airing yesterday.

Set above and below the streets of London, Legacy combines a two-part radio drama and an online adventure game to tell the story of Jules and Harry, two 20-something siblings coming to terms with – say the makers – “their family's shocking past”.

Now available on the BBC iPlayer, Legacy was broadcast on BBC Radio 7, with the second episode scheduled for this Sunday.

The idea is that the game is played after the broadcast of each episode, though both the game and radio show can be enjoyed separately.

Legacy was developed by BBC Radio Scotland's drama producer David Ian Neville. The first episode was written by Louise Ironside and the second episode by David Bishop, who both attended BBC Radio Scotland's Lab writers' workshops. Also involved was games producer, DESQ.

Both episodes will be broadcast again on BBC Radio Scotland, on the 17th and 24th of next month.
