First Public Speech of New BBC Chief to be Screened for Scottish Audience

The BBC Scotland headquarters in Glasgow is to screen a special broadcast of the first public speech by the new chair of the BBC governing body and licence fee representatives, the BBC Trust.

Lord Patten's speech is being delivered under the guise of an annual lecture run by the Royal Television Society. 

And the event taking place in Glasgow on the sixth of next month is being organised by the RTS in Scotland.

The title of the Fleming Memorial Lecture is 'The BBC – Old Values, New Technologies'. Entry is free, but tickets require to be booked from the RTS via henrye@skillset.org
