Housing plans reportedly lodged for former BBC Scotland HQ

PLANS have reportedly been lodged to turn the former BBC Scotland HQ in Glasgow into private residences.

Says The Herald today, of the Queen Margaret Drive former premises of BBC Scotland – which now has its HQ at Pacific Quay, also in Glasgow: “North Park House, in Glasgow’s Queen Margaret Drive, is now owned by leisure tycoon, Stefan King.

“The proposals lodged with Glasgow City Council are to alter the former Broadcasting House and include changing a former studio on the site into a residence. It is believed Mr King may eventually live in the historic building.”
