Media movers: Mark McLaughlin, Judith Duffy, etc

WELCOME to Media Movers, tracking promotions, retirements, etc, in the Scottish media scene.

FIRSTLY, congratulations to Mark McLaughlin, who has started this week in the role of education and politics correspondent at The Times Scotland.

And congratulations too to Kieran Andrews, who joins the same newspaper next week as the new Scottish political editor, replacing Hamish Macdonell – who has been appointed to the newly-created role of director of Strategic Engagement at the Scottish Salmon Producers Organisation (as reported here).

Kieran leaves the post of investigations editor at The Courier.
