Journalists Being Offered Insight into Making Money Online

A seminar designed to help journalists make money from internet is to be held in June. The event, 'news:rewired – the nouveau niche', is aimed at journalists covering a specialised beat.

Session 3 – two streams: Interactives – How can you use your audience to produce better reporting and special features? What are the benefits of letting users become part of the editorial process?

Managing online communities – “If you build it, they will come” doesn’t work online. This session will look at building and managing communities around your content, from blogs and forums, to social media channels, and how best to make use of this specialist audience.
