Broadcasters, STV, have launched an app for Android handsets, adding to its news and sport app for iPhones.
In a statement issued by STV, Alistair Brown, chief technology and platforms officer, is quoted as saying of the free app: “Our STV News iPhone app was launched just over a year ago and has now been downloaded a phenomenal 100,000 times.”
