A SCOTTISH blog which has been reporting a tax case being pursued by HMRC against Rangers football club has been shortlisted for a prestigious political writing award.
Rangers Tax Case is shortlisted for this year’s Orwell Blog Prize, part of a suite of prizes which seek – say its organisers – ‘to make political writing into an art’ (the ambition of author, George Orwell).
Also among the seven nominees is Scot’s journalist, Alex Massie, for his blog on for The Spectator magazine.

There is also a books prize.
