Social media guidance provided by the Scottish Government for agencies responding to an emergency

GUIDANCE on how agencies responding to an emergency might handle their social media has been published by the Scottish Government.

‘Warning and Informing Scotland: Using Social Media in Emergencies’ has been posted on to the Scottish Government website, which says theĀ guidance “provides responders with information on social media tools and techniques along with practical advice on how these can be harnessed to enhance their communications function”.
