THE publisher of The Herald, Sunday Herald and Evening Times newspapers has earned itself two nominations in a competition celebrating the best of online media.
The Herald & Times Group has been nominated in the Best Local/Regional News Site and Best App categories in the Online Media Awards, now in their third year and organised by the Glasgow-based media and marketing magazine, The Drum.

With a strong Scots connection, the chief correspondent at Channel 4 News, Alex Thomson, gets shortlisted in the Best Commentary/Blogging category. Last year, he wrote extensively about the financial difficulties being experienced by Rangers Football Club.
