AS a freelance photographer, working out of Edinburgh for 25 years, my clients have ranged from The Dalai Lama to oil companies.

The thousands of commissions include shooting theatre productions (Edinburgh International Festival, National Theatre, etc), travel jobs (AA, Harper Collins), scores of conferences, corporate shoots (RBS, HBOS, Lafarge, Scottish Widows, etc), magazine features and so on.

I don’t make a drama out of it, I just take good photos and turn them round fast.
