Media Job: Page layout designer and headline writer, The Digger

CLOSING DATE: November 15, 2016

THE Digger magazine needs a designer and headline writer to produce 32 colour pages each week.

The candidate must have excellent tabloid style skills. These include coming up with witty headlines and graphics that make the magazine stand out in our 800 shops across Glasgow.

Can you make the front cover pop with colour and outstanding type face?

Create attention grabbing headlines in a matter of seconds while under pressure?

The job has to be done by 10pm on a Monday night… with copy still coming in at 9pm.

You’d have to be able to produce photoshopped pictures and be an expert using google apps and quark express 2015.

The hours are up to you. We pay £200 for the finished pdfs.

Some training will be needed using our printer portal. You must have design experience on a daily or weekly newspaper.

This is not a job for an amateur. Call me in confidence – on 07915 555240 – for an informal chat.
