Media job: Newspaper brand manager

An exciting opportunity to join one of Scotland’s biggest publishers has arisen for an experienced newspaper brand manager.

Working with the head of Newspaper Marketing, you will be instrumental in the brand positioning of our regional and national newspaper titles.

The role of the newspaper brand manager will be to work with existing internal and external stakeholders to maximise the presence of our newspaper brands and to identify new opportunities for our titles to engage with our readers beyond the daily printed products.

You will take ownership of delivering existing and new media partnerships and sponsorship’s to maximise those opportunities and should the need arise you will take the lead on any above the line advertising.

The key requirements for the role include:

  • Three years+ marketing experience managing multiple brands and stake holders.
  • A measurable history of successful campaign management.
  • First-class organisational, planning, negotiating and communication skills essential.
  • Experience of working with stakeholders at managing director level advantageous.
  • A qualification in marketing is advantageous but not essential.
