ABOUT THE ROLE

The Digital Services directorate manages, and delivers all of SDS’s digital engagement channels. This includes My World of Work, Our Skills Force, The SDS Corporate Web Site, The SDS Intranet, Provider Central, The Big Plus and Customer Services.

Working with the content manager (Digital Services), the content editor will personally produce and edit a range of digital content. He/she will be passionate about writing for the web, demonstrate strong editorial judgement and thrive on working to deadlines.

Driving effective strategies to ensure that the digital content meets the needs of our users but also aligns with SDS requirements, the post holder will support the implementation of the digital channels content strategies and their subsequent delivery plans. This will enable SDS to build its reputation and deliver objectives aligned with the digital channels.

The post holder will work with a team that engages and creates a positive image by delivering compelling content that supports the delivery plans agreed for the digital channels. The post holder will develop strong and clear linkages across the organisation and ensure a positive and high profile image is created for SDS and the products and services we offer. He/she will in addition provide advice and guidance on digital content matters to colleagues within SDS.

Working collaboratively both internally and externally, the content editor will play a key role in the delivery of corporate objectives with our customers (individuals and businesses), stakeholders and partners.

ABOUT YOU

To qualify you must display excellent knowledge of content management systems and Photoshop. In addition be a flexible and adaptable team player with excellent attention to detail and accuracy, strong communication skills and a focused approach to your workload. You should be confident working in a busy and fast paced role.
