GAMES and activities for youngsters at intu Braehead this summer are going to be dino-mite!

Just ask Alanya Jamieson, aged eight and her five-year-old brother, Lewis, from Johnstone, Renfrewshire, who were one of the first kids to try out the free Jurassic fun in the central atriums of the shopping mall and nearby Soar at intu Braehead leisure destination.

The Dino Fun prehistoric-themed event runs from 11am to 5pm every day from now until Sunday, July 19.

Activities include arts and crafts like colouring and making fossils, dinosaur masks and badges along with puppet shows being staged throughout the day.

Youngsters can also get their selfies and photographs taken with giant model dinosaurs that have been roaming the malls, dinosaur eggs and bones and a jeep just back from a dinosaur hunting safari.

Marketing manager for intu Braehead, Christine Macdonald, said: “The kids will be having monster amounts of fun at intu Braehead this summer.

“The huge dinosaur models and all the prehistoric stage props we have are fantastic – the youngsters are loving it.”
