LEADING communications agency, Stripe Communications, has been appointed by The EDI Group Ltd following a five-way competitive pitch in early summer.

The award-winning consultancy will manage all B2B communications and stakeholder activity as part of a five-figure retainer contract for EDI, a property development and investment business owned by the City of Edinburgh Council.

EDI has a number of the city’s most ambitious projects within its portfolio, including the redevelopment and regeneration of Craigmillar, Fountainbridge and Granton Waterfront.

Eric Adair, operations and finance director at EDI, said: “Stripe’s enthusiasm and creativity made it stand out from the crowd in the pitch stages and we are very pleased to be working with the corporate team on some of Edinburgh’s most exciting developments.”

The account will be serviced by Stripe’s corporate team and will be headed up by Kate Forster, associate director.
