LAST Thursday saw the successful launch of Peninsula Scotland, the employment law and health and safety consultancy situated in heart of Glasgow at Skypark.

Peninsula Scotland is a subsidiary of the award-winning Peninsula Business Services, which already serves over 30,000 clients throughout the UK, including Scotland.

Alan Price, managing director of Peninsula Scotland, said: “We take great pride in being able to assist and support Scottish businesses in providing a better future for the local economy business community.

“We already provide our service to many clients in Scotland, and look forward to welcoming even more into our family.

“Business confidence growing in Scotland, with many organisations starting to recruit fresh talent in order to develop their business moving forward.”

Price added: “Whilst this is an incredibly exciting time for any employer, it can also bring forth several headaches that, if not dealt with correctly and efficiently, can have legal implications.

“Businesses of all sizes face numerous issues in the workplace on a weekly basis, which, with the right help and advice, can be minimised or prevented.

“This is where Peninsula Scotland can lend a helping hand. We provide support and advice with several issues including workplace absenteeism, tribunal claims, parental leave and health and safety protocols.

“Peninsula Scotland can act in effect as an in-house HR team, offering a portfolio of services including HR and employment documentation, which incorporates updating documents, resolving issues and creating other tailored documents for every business.

“Additionally, we also offer a 24-hour telephone advice service, manned by friendly trained HR experts, who are ready to support you with any workplace issues.”

Peninsula Scotland also provides a comprehensive health and safety service that assists business with all their health and safety needs.

“Health and safety is a hot topic at the moment. Businesses should ensure that they are doing everything they can to prevent unnecessary mishaps at work from occurring and avoiding negative legal backlash.”

Price concludes: “We want to take out some of the stress and strains Scottish employers face, allowing them to run their businesses more efficiently and effectively. Business can be tough, so why not accept a little help and guidance to help you be the best you can be.”
