Staff recruitment now underway at Warsaw Technology Hub to provide in-house and outsourced tech consultancy services

AMBITIOUS Edinburgh-based digital agency, Web Foundry, has opened a new technology development hub in Warsaw, to provide in-house and outsourced technology consultancy services for its own client base and support for other agencies which may need a digital resource to be externally managed.

The company, which offers, a broad range of services including app development, digital marketing, web design and hosting credits Warsaw as the ideal location for its pioneering Tech Hub, given the city’s vibrant business culture with its flourishing hi-tech sector and an acclaimed manufacturing base, as Phil Holt, managing director of Web Foundry, explains:

“Moving our technical support and development expertise to the Polish capital makes clear sense, given the political stability, excellent broadband and communications infrastructure and a strong, highly-engaged English-speaking talent pool emerging from the country’s schools, colleges and universities which readily understands the changing trends and future challenges across the digi-tech spectrum.”

The Web Foundry’s decision to move its technology hub to Warsaw was borne from a Technology Conference in Prague where Phil Holt witnessed how Eastern Europe had warmly embraced a digital entrepreneurial culture and was adaptable in keeping up with new trends across an industry sector that continuously evolves.

He adds: “We have so much to learn from other countries and it got me thinking that we could seamlessly integrate our services to be part of the dynamic Eastern Europe creative services ‘marketing mix’.

“Whilst there is nothing new in outsourcing tech services ‘offshore’, we are a young Edinburgh company taking our business into a country when so many Polish businesses are creating opportunities here in the Ccottish Capital. In some ways, we are bucking a trend.

“However, this is also about how we deliver our years of experience from one country to another. Everyone in the team needs to feel connected and engaged.”

The new Tech Hub provides ample scope for Web Foundry’s ‘white label’ services where it can build custom teams for other agencies and clients with three levels of service offering from simple recruitment/screening and hand over, to full technical management.

The Web Foundry technology hub in Warsaw has already put in place its technical director, Przemek Sargeant (who previously worked in the company’s Edinburgh office), and three experienced PHP developers.

Over the course of the coming months, the company will continue to advertise and recruit the best front and back end developers.

Web Foundry’s new Tech Hub in Warsaw is located at ul. Warszawska 164, Latchorzew 05-082 Stare Babice.
