‘THE Conflict Within’ is the recently-released inaugural album by Leonheart, a Scottish band formed by composer and musician, Leonard Harper Gow.

The profits from the initial sales and a concert on Tuesday 8 November will go directly to support the work of Scottish charity, Health in Mind.

The album is an atmospheric mix of electronic and ambient with hints of jazz and blues.

Leonard Harper Gow explained how the band is really looking forward to performing at St Andrew and St George’s West Church George Street, in Edinburgh, and how they would like to see every seat filled. The concert starts at 7pm.

Said Leonard: “The performance of ‘The Conflict Within’ will feature keyboards, cello, sax and voice and as well as our music, people will hear how Health in Mind can change people’s lives,” said Leonard.

Tickets cost £15 and can be booked by email. The CD will be available on the night and costs £10.

Health in Mind’s chief executive, Gwenn McCreath, enjoyed listening to ‘The Conflict Within’.
