The Forth Awards recognise those who go above and beyond in their community, whether in education, tourism or the office, with categories including Best Teacher, Best Workplace, the Community Venture Award and the much-loved Local Hero Award.
Cathy Kirk, Bauer commercial director, Radio Forth said: “We’re thrilled to offer even more listeners the opportunity to attend what is undoubtedly one of Edinburgh and the east’s events of the year.
“This means more people can join us on the night and support the celebrations of all the many community heroes and organisations who make the city so special. The balcony tickets are on sale now and limited in number so our message to listeners is to buy them soon to avoid missing out.”
The Forth Awards also celebrate some of the biggest names in music, sport and entertainment, with this year’s live act a closely guarded secret and set to follow in the footsteps of previous performers, including Stereophonics, Paolo Nutini, Olly Murs, Deacon Blue, David Gray and Alesha Dixon.
