THE magazine teams within DCT Media are thrilled today after winning four awards at last night’s PPA Scottish Magazine Awards.
Held at the EICC, the gala dinner ceremony aims to recognise the talent within Scotland’s magazine sector.
Sales Performance of the Year was won by The Scots Magazine. Newspaper, The Sunday Post, also celebrated as their insert magazine, In10, was named best Newspaper Supplement.
Sweet, a monthly magazine aimed at six-to-ten year-olds that – features collectable, shopping and all things cute – was awarded Best New Launch.
In the Consumer Magazine Editor category, Beano comic editor, John Anderson, was recognised with a Highly Commended, while editor of WWE Kids Magazine and 100% Gaming, Lucy Galloway, was named winner.
DCT Media managing director, Mike Watson, said: “I’m really pleased for the teams that work so hard to produce the excellent magazines and supplements. These awards are testament to the time and energy that goes in to producing great quality, engaging content.”
