Media release: New batch of training courses announced by NUJ Scotland

PublicRelationsToUse

WE still have places available on our filming and editing for Android devices course running in Glasgow this week (Thursday 4 October).

This one-day course has been developed to help members respond to the increasing demand for them to react immediately, effectively and quickly to a developing situation. This course shows how to get the first pictures back to the newsroom and how to film and edit those shots properly using an android phone or device. It emphasises the need for devices to be used as a first response and to take those shots in the absence of any other photographer or camera operator.

The course costs £95 for NUJ members and should you wish to book a place, please contact me at joanm@nuj.org.uk

In the meantime, there are also the following courses available:

9 October 2018 InDesign
10 October 2018 Brand Me: Confidence skills for women in the media
12 October 2018 The effective freelance
18 October 2018 Scriptwriting
18 October 2018 Writing for the web
