BBC Scotland is to broadcast highlights from the upcoming Alfred Dunhill Links Championship golfing event, which brings together celebrities – including Justin Timberlake, Ronan Keating and Jamie Redknapp – alongside some of the world’s best-known golfing professionals.
Combining fantastic golf, stunning courses and great entertainment, leading professionals and celebrity amateur golfers together take part in this iconic four-day event.
The championship is staged over three spectacular links courses – The Old Course St Andrews, Carnoustie and Kingsbarns – which provide breathtaking views as well as a stern test for professionals and celebrities alike.
Celebrities from the worlds of music, film, TV and sport include Justin Timberlake, Ronan Keating, Shane Warne, Rudd Gullit, Kevin Pietersen, Sir Steve Redgrave, Wladimir Klitschko, Andriy Shevchenko, Jamie Redknapp, Luis Figo, Brian McFadden and Vinnie Jones.
The golfing pros taking part in the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship are: Rory McIlroy, Justin Rose, Tommy Fleetwood, Tyrrell Hatton, Padraig Harrington, Graeme McDowell, Ernie Els, Luke Donald, Lucas Bjerregaard, Lee Westwood, Matt Wallace, Eddie Pepperell and Ross Fisher.
