EDINBURGH-based Morphic Technology has successfully progressed to the Wild Card EDGE final of Scottish EDGE Round 19 with its pioneering product, Joiin, which enables instant, seamless outdoor group sports communications through the development of innovative technology.
The Morphic Technology team is ‘over the moon’ to have been selected in the top 12 businesses to progress to the Wild Card EDGE final, especially considering the huge number and extremely high standard of applicants in this competition.
The feedback from the first stage assessment panel has been of great use in refining our product and business strategy.
Joiin is gearing up to be the essential outdoor sports accessory for 2023.
Using customers’ Bluetooth headsets, and new communication technology via a smartphone app, Joiin provides a fast, safe way to speak with other group members during outdoor activities, such as cycling and skiing, in one easy button click.
No more being unable to communicate with each other or having to stop to access your phone to inform others of route changes or delays, request help, point out sights, or provide safety reminders. Delay and frustration replaced with connectivity and peace of mind.
Morphic Technology is currently working towards the development of the first release of Joiin in January 2023 and is seeking pre-orders to enable the product’s launch.

Pitches to the Wild Card EDGE final assessment panel will take place during May, with winners invited to the Scottish EDGE awards ceremony dinner on 9 June 2022 at The Royal Bank of Scotland’s conference centre in Edinburgh.
