Media release: British Podcast Awards for The Big Light

THE Big Light, the Scots podcast network, is delighted to announce that its eight-part musical drama, Atlantic – A Scottish Story, and its COP 26 Daily podcast have been awarded bronze and silver medals, respectively, at this year’s prestigious British Podcast Awards.

These prestigious industry awards were held at London’s, Kennington Park on Saturday 23rdJuly, and powered by Audible. More than 100 independent judges whittled down the entries to form ten nominations in nearly all the main categories.

Atlantic was awarded bronze in the Best Fiction category and COP 26 Daily received a silver in the Best Daily Podcast category. COP 26 Daily triumphed from a pool of exceptional UK content that included podcasts produced for the Guardian, Spotify and The Economist.
