SOME of the world’s top wrestling stars are making a return visit to Braehead next year.
The ring heroes of the WWE are to battle it out in front of a sell-out crowd of thousands of fans at Braehead Arena, on November 14. But already they have agreed to come back to Scotland for a return match on April 17, 2009.
Superstar wrestlers expected to feature in the show next year include CM Punk, John Cena, Batista, Randy Orton, Chris Jericho, JBL, Cryme Tyme and Kane.
And the news that the WWE Raw Wrestlemania Revenge Tour is coming to Braehead next April will spark a mad rush when the tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday, September 12.
Braehead Arena manager, Scott Martin, said: “I have never known a demand for tickets like we get for these WWE shows – it’s phenomenal. The WWE show in November was sold out within hours.
“As soon as the ticket phone lines are open, they are red hot with fans desperate to get their hands on the tickets.
“And the lucky ones who do get a ticket for next April will be treated to a fantastic night of sports entertainment with a great atmosphere generated by the superstar wrestlers and the sell-out crowd.”
Tickets for the WWE Raw Wrestlemania Revenge Tour are only available via the internet and telephone. They can be bought through www.braehead-arena.co.uk or by calling 0870 444 6062 from 9am on September 12.
