“I’m confident that will be an invaluable platform for those looking for the perfect job or candidate, anywhere in Scotland.”

The launch of will be supported by an advertising campaign on STV and on outdoor sites across Scotland.

The campaign, which was created by The Union and produced by STV Creative, features a group of men and women dressed to represent a range of industry sectors, including health and beauty, emergency services and local business.

Standing in a formation, the group performs a ‘job seekers dance’, inspired by traditional war dances.

Michael Hart, creative director at The Union, said: “We have considerable experience at The Union of online launches and the challenge is always to generate impact and cut-through in a busy marketplace. The approach we’ve taken for stvjobs will, we hope, stand out and get the site noticed. It’s an excellent product and our job is to drive traffic to the site so users can experience the service and range of jobs on offer.”

The campaign was created by Michael Hart and Ben Craig (senior art director) and media buying is by Feather Brooksbank.
