Media Release: Weber Shandwick expands office in the Highlands

THE Inverness office of leading Scottish public relations consultancy, Weber Shandwick, has expanded – with two new recruits.

The firm has started the New Year by appointing senior account executive, Marion Jones, just three months after the appointment of account manager, Roisin-Alana Di Giacomo.

Marion, an Inverness native has returned home after eight years studying and working in marketing, advertising and PR both in London and Sydney, Australia. Previous clients have included Virgin Atlantic, BlackBerry, Adidas and O2.

A graduate of the University of Strathclyde, Marion brings a wealth of experience along with great enthusiasm for being back in the Highlands.

Roisin-Alana is also strengthening the Inverness office.

She joins from a leading Glasgow-based PR consultancy where she spent two years providing communication and consultation support for a diverse range of clients. Roisin-Alana will be working predominantly on the luxury boutique hotel, Rocpool Reserve, as well as the Eastgate Centre and Albyn Housing.

Moray Macdonald, deputy managing director at Weber Shandwick, said: “Both Roisin-Alana and Marion bring a wide variety of experience and contacts to the team and look set to be valuable assets to our clients.”

The Inverness office has a wide range of clients including Jacobite Cruises, HIE (Highlands & Islands Enterprise), Inverness Airport Business Park, and Highland Hospice.
