NEWSPAPER articles can challenge public beliefs. So, Epilepsy Scotland provides a Journalist of the Year award.
We offer a £500 prize for the most accurate and responsible article published on epilepsy in the Scottish press during 2009/10.
Journalists can help us challenge misinformation about this common but serious neurological condition. A powerful partnership of words and images can help to change hearts and lives. Our award is a novel way to inform and educate the public.
All you have to do is make sure that your story appears in a Scottish publication between 1 February 2009 and 31 January 2010.
So, boot up your computers and type your way to success.
