The Minister will outline the innovative plans for the future of Drama Training and will highlight news of the first major achievement of the Network, namely the agreement for a new BA (Hons) Acting for Stage and Screen, degree course to be delivered between Edinburgh Napier University and Queen Margaret University.

This collaboration is a first of its kind for the country and is recognised as an important step forward for acting training. But it will also have a wide reaching influence across all of the other vocational and practical areas of drama training, which include film, television, radio, contemporary performance practice, technical theatre skills and musical theatre.
