MOST young girls can only dream of being a princess and living in a magical wonderland. But now – with help from interior designer, Ashley Wilson – children can live in their fantasies by transforming their bedrooms into their favourite fairytales.
Kids Interior Design specialises in designing colourful fairytale bedrooms for children.
The company was the brainchild of Ashley Wilson, who is a fully-qualified interior designer that spends her time re-creating the characters from all sorts of fairytales and cartoons, as well as football scenes and golfing heroes.
Based in Aberdeen, Kids Interior Design covers the whole of Scotland and offers a full-design service including consultancy, research and design.
The designs are unique and 34 year-old Ashley is finding there is quite a demand for her unique offering, especially for young girls looking for princess rooms.
Ashley commented: “It is an amazing job and very rewarding to paint such creative figures that really do transform a plain bedroom into something quite spectacular. What’s even better, is the reaction I get from both the parents and the children; it’s really great to make people so happy.”
Ashley formed Kids Interior Design in October 2009 and, as well as undertaking some major commissions, she has done some voluntary work for a local children’s charity.
Her work is unique and offers clients a bespoke service that is tailored to them.
Kids Interior Design offers designs for boys, as well as girls and specialises in the creation of bespoke footballers, other sporting heroes and cartoon characters.
