Media Release: Agent of change available for comment on ‘SFA crisis/organisational change’

DAVID Yeoman is uniquely placed to offer independent and informed comment and analysis on the current issues affecting the Scottish Football Association, the shock resignation of chief executive, Gordon Smith and the McLeish review of Scottish football.

Having been appointed by Gordon Smith in the immediate aftermath of the ‘Boozegate’ affair to deliver a ‘Performance Change Programme’, Yeoman has the inside story of the institutional deficiencies afflicting the SFA and how these can best be addressed.

Indeed, many of the recommendations made by Yeoman in his ‘Performance Change Programme’ proposal for the SFA are now mirrored in the Henry McLeish review.

He believes that the SFA provides a pertinent case study from which all organisations can learn valuable lessons about leadership, chains of command and the continuous need for organisations to evolve and adapt to change.

David Yeoman is available for interview today on tel 07967 346040
