Media Release: Shelter Scotland responds to Housing Bill debate

IN response to today’s Housing Bill debate in the Scottish Parliament, Gordon MacRae, head of Communications and Policy, Shelter Scotland, housing and homelessness charity, said:

“It is good news that today’s Bill has progressed to the next stage. Shelter Scotland supports this Bill and the reforms to Right to Buy but we think it can go further.

“In these difficult economic times, keeping people in their homes must be the priority. That is why we will continue to campaign for better access to housing support as part of this Bill as it continues to progress through the Scottish Parliament.”
