LEADING public relations and public affairs consultancy, Weber Shandwick, received two top awards at last night’s Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) PRide Awards in the capital.
Says a spokesperson: “With over 1,221 entries this year, the consultancy won Gold in the Best Consumer Relations Campaign and Gold for the Best Digital Campaign.
“Professionals from throughout the UK judged work by the consultancy’s teams in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen and Inverness to be amongst the best in Scotland.”
Winners on the night were recognised for their outstanding contribution to public relations.
Weber Shandwick’s digital communications received top recognition for its Twitter Tasting Campaign on behalf of the Scotch Malt Whisky Society, and against stiff competition, the successful launch of Sirius Whisky was judged to be the best consumer campaign carried out in Scotland.
Speaking of the success of the night, managing director, Nora Senior, said: “The awards showcase the exceptional high standards undertaken by our consultants across Scotland.
