Media Release: Armchair Advice re-launches

THE popular advice and information website, Armchair Advice, has recently re-launched with a new look.

Armchair Advice was originally launched in 2006 to provide those experiencing traumatic life events with help and guidance. It addresses the three most stressful situations people are involved in: job loss, relationship breakdown and bereavement.

The site contains loads of essential information, common sense and advice.

It includes useful checklists and downloads such as Will templates and offers access to specialist legal advice.

Also, there is a very active forum where visitors can get advice from others who have experienced similar situations.

Armchair Advice has a job loss section that provides information on your rights in employment and if you are dismissed. It has useful tips on how to cope with the emotional stress and financial pressure that redundancy can bring. It advises you what to do if you think you have been unfairly dismissed and provides access to specialist employment law solicitors. It also provides visitors with help in finding another job.

It also includes a relationship section providing practical advice on how to resolve common relationship problems; information on the steps needed to undertake a divorce; and guidance on how to start dating again after a separation. There is even a dating section where visitors can search for their new partner.

The bereavement section contains advice on coping with a terminal illness and how to prepare for death with dignity. It provides information on the practical steps to take if someone dies; guidance on executing a will and includes useful downloads such as an executors checklist, a funeral expense planner and Living Will template.

The new site has been designed to be more user-friendly and the forum has been significantly upgraded and improved, so whether you’re looking for divorce advice or information about job loss it’s easy to find the help that you need.

Greg Paine, publisher, said: “The old site was very successful with over 55,000 unique visitors per month; however, things have moved on and it was looking a bit dated after five years. We are very pleased with the new site which we believe will be even more popular.”

Armchair Advice provides specific and helpful guidance, advice and information related to job loss and redundancy law, relationships and bereavement.
