AN Aberdeen-based cancer charity will be hosting a night of glamour at its headquarters next month.
CLAN Cancer Support are gearing up to hold a fashion show on Wednesday, April 13, at CLAN House, where all items modelled will be stock from one of its charity shops.
The fashion show will give audience members the opportunity to view the wide variety of quality clothing and accessories available at the charity shops.
Tickets for the event are £8.50 and are on sale at CLAN House and at CLAN’s city centre charity shops at 30 Chapel Street and 117 Rosemount Place. Concessions are also available.
CLAN senior shop manager, Anne Scaife, said: “Everyone has put a lot of work into organising the fashion show and I am sure it will be a great night.
“Having a fashion show is a great way to showcase some of the fantastic items we receive at the CLAN charity shops, as well as being a popular fundraising activity.
“It costs around £100,000 per month to provide the vital support services based in CLAN House and our outreach centres, meaning crucial fundraising has to continue over and above the commitment to our new purpose built centre.”
CLAN is an independent charity which offers support to anyone affected by cancer. Based in Aberdeen, the charity covers the whole of Grampian, Orkney and Shetland. CLAN is also developing services in the community and now has a presence in Ballater, Inverurie, Peterhead, Stonehaven, Orkney and Shetland.
