ABERDEEN consultancy, Project Excellence, has announced the appointment of a key business associate.
Simon White will head up the company’s risk management division in a bid to expand and extend its services.
Simon has almost 20 years’ experience in designing and advising on risk management projects across a breadth of industries including nuclear, oil and gas transport, defence, IT, and telecommunications.
An Oxford University graduate, he has delivered many keynote project and risk management presentations to association events and authored extensive research and white papers.
Simon’s also designed key risk management software, including being a contributing architect and expert user of Primavera Risk Analysis software (also known as Pertmaster).
Most recently, he was a risk analyst for ConocoPhillips and prior to that was a senior risk management Consultant for Pertmaster.
Simon will operate both from his Oxford base and Project Excellence’s Huntly Street office. His appointment is regarded as crucial in meeting the demands of the firm’s expanding customer base.

The team works with operators such as BP, Chevron and ConocoPhillips, together with a number of major contractors and service companies in the energy industry.
