Media Release: Free golf with dinosaurs contest for children

A picture of a dinosaur will unlock the door to free entry at a tourist attraction aimed at children and families that’s due to open in Glasgow this month

WORLD of Golf Glasgow, a premier golf centre situated on Great Western Road, wants children to send in a drawing of their favourite, prehistoric creature – and each entrant will receive a FREE Family Pass to ‘Jurassic Parrr’, the company’s £500,000, 18-hole adventure golf course now in the final stages of completion.

“We are looking for children to compete in our special fun Facebook competition and win tickets to explore Jurassic Parrr,” said World of Golf Glasgow’s general manager, Yvonne Park.

“We will pick winners who will then have a chance to make a video diary account of their experience.

“We have been in business in Glasgow for ten years so the opening of Jurassic Parrr and this children’s competition are helping us celebrate.”

To enter, children are invited to draw a picture of their favourite dinosaur or an adventure golf-related picture, or even what they expect Jurassic Parrr to look like.

Help is a hand at www.facebook.com/jurassicparr – parents, aunties, uncles, teachers of children taking part are invited to ‘like’ the page for exclusive updates and special opening offers.

Pictures should be e-mailed to retail@worldofgolfglasgow.co.uk or posted in to ‘Jurassic Parrr’ Competition, World of Golf, 2700 Great Western  Road, Glasgow, G81 2XT.

The child’s name, age, primary group, school and contact number for a parent/guardian must be included.

All these details and completed entries must be in by 6 pm on Sunday, August 14. Competition winners will be announced on Facebook on Sunday, August, 21.
