FINAL preparations are now underway at St Andrews Aquarium in Fife for the arrival of Santa this Saturday at 10am.

Final preparations are now underway at St Andrews Aquarium in Fife for the arrival of Santa this Saturday at 10am.
Visits to Santa, who arrives at the Aquarium at 10am to be part of their Christmas Fun Day, will be available to speak to local boys and girls about their Christmas wish lists, assisted by his two elves, Buggy and Boo.
The Christmas Fun Day also marks the launch of the Meerkat Nativity, which will see the enclosure of the growing meerkat clan at St Andrews Aquarium transformed into a traditional nativity set complete with stable and crib, and starring the latest additions to the family, Frank, Goldie & Myrrh. The Meerkat Nativity will be on display every day in the run up to Christmas.
Mr Puffin, arguably Scotland’s best balloon modeller will also be on site all day making some of his amazing fishy balloon creations for all the children.
John Mace, manager of St Andrews Aquarium commented, “This Saturday is shaping up to be a very exciting day for all the family – Café Catch are putting on a whole host of Christmas nibbles, Santa is flying in for an all day visit and the meerkats are excited about the redecoration that has been going on in their enclosure all week. Christmas is just around the corner and with the weather turning cold this is a great fun day out for all the family to get everyone into the festive spirit. ”
The Christmas Fun Day starts with Santa’s arrival at 10am on Saturday 12th November at St Andrews Aquarium. Tickets include all the activities and access to the Aquarium and can be booked online at www.standrewsaquarium.co.uk
