Media Release: Village dance raises over £500 for Epilepsy Scotland

A SCOTTISH country dance benefit held in the village hall at Braco on 22 November 2011 raised £523 for national charity, Epilepsy Scotland.

Members of the local Braco dance class were joined by friends from Scottish country dance groups across the central belt and were accompanied all night by musician, David Cunningham.

Local businesses supported the event and donated prizes for the exciting raffle.

Organiser, Denise Veitch, is delighted at the support received for a cause that is so close to her heart.

The response of group members and local businesses has been overwhelming and really helped to make the night such a huge success.
