Media Release: BT Scotland entrepreneur awards

THE annual BT Scotland Young E-ntrepreneurs Awards which recognises 18-30 year-old entrepreneurs with outstanding visionary business and eCommerce skills will take place on Wednesday 29th February 2012.

Organised The Prince’s Scottish Youth Business Trust (PSYBT), the shortlisted contenders for this year’s award will be eligible for four award categories: E-Most Visionary Business, Best Website, Best E-Commerce Strategy, and Most Environmentally Responsible Business.

Last year chocolatier Sarah Findlay, founder of Miss COCO chocolates in Cumbernauld won the overall award for most visionary business and a cash prize of £1,000.

Those among the running for this year’s awards include an award winning photographer and a jewellery maker from Fife, an Edinburgh based property letting specialist, and a take-away business which caters for 51 outlets throughout Livingston and West Lothian.
