COMMERCIAL property experts, FG Burnett, has clocked up more than a double century of deals in the last 18 months.
A summary of the Scottish agency’s activity shows FG Burnett has completed more than 200 deals in 2010 and the first six months of 2011 – an average of a transaction every 1.8 working days.
In Aberdeen, the company’s agency team has enjoyed a spectacular run of success with the office team, led by Jonathan Nesbitt and Dan Smith, advising on more than 75 transactions totalling over 650,000 sq ft, while across Scotland the deals done figure tops the 200 mark.
The agency team has represented a variety of blue chip clients, including Hermes, Standard Life, Rockspring, CBREI, Redevco and Drum Property Group and acted for Wood Group and Centrica in acquiring 125,000 sq ft of accommodation in Aberdeen’s IQ building.
As joint letting agents of the Bon Accord and St Nicolas shopping centres, FG Burnett has been involved in the lettings of units to major High Street retailers following an £8 million refurbishment programme in both centres.
FG Burnett has also strengthened its reputation as a leading player in Investment Consultancy, with director, Ewen White, advising on the recent £31 million acquisition of Dundee’s Wellgate shopping centre by Invista Real Estate Investment Management.
On the industrial front, the company has been active with a high volume of transactions completed, including the sale of a 100,000 sq ft former manufacturing plant in East Kilbride and the letting of a new 70,000 sq ft warehouse at Edzell Base, Aberdeenshire.
