Press launch of Frank To Plague Doctor exhibition in London
YOU are invited to the press launch of the Frank To Plague Doctor exhibition in London when the artist will wear a full mediaeval plague doctor costume as part of a performance art show in College Green, opposite the House of Parliament, London at 11.00 a.m. on Monday 28th November.
Frank To, the young Glasgow-based artist with a growing international reputation as a leading contemporary figurative painter, will be exhibiting his latest work at the Caledoniart Christmas Exhibition at the Air Gallery in London from 28th November to 3rd December.
In the paintings, To explores the Great Plague of 1665 as a metaphor for the current global economic crisis: both events directly affect individuals, indiscriminately, regardless of whether they are rich or poor, on an international level.
Frank To will be available for interview on the day.
