EDINBURGH’S latest day spa has opened at the prestigious Princes Street Suites in the east end of the city.

The Sanctuary at The Suites offers a wide range of therapeutic and remedial treatments, for men and women, from hot stone therapy and an indulgent two-hour full body essential oil experience, to a slim gel body wrap and collagen facial.

Adds a spokesperson: “It is also the only facility in Edinburgh to practice treatments from leading natural skincare institution, MONU.

“Developed by skincare specialist, Susan Molyneux, MONU focuses on the use of pure ingredients that provide natural care for the skin. Its unique and gentle products are made with the best quality plant extracts, minerals and essential oils, and are free from lanolin, artificial colours and perfumes.”

Conveniently situated on Waterloo Place, just off Princes Street, The Sanctuary at The Suites offers the perfect combination of location and value with hour-long treatments priced from just £30.

Paul Lindsay, manager of Sanctuary at The Suites, comments: “Our aim is to offer a range of quality beauty treatments and effective remedial therapies in a prime location at reasonable prices.

“The team of therapists has been handpicked for their expertise and reputation within the industry, and we pride ourselves on creating a very personal experience for each customer, tailoring the treatment and products to the individual.

“We are delighted to have been selected to represent the MONU brand in Edinburgh. It is one of the most respected ranges of professional skincare in the industry and offers customers something completely new and different.

“The Sanctuary at The Suites has only been open a short time, but is already proving extremely popular. Our unique Complete Sanctuary package, especially, is generating a lot of interest and we’ve already hosted our first day experience, booked for a surprise birthday do.”

The new day spa also offers one of the most exclusive pamper experiences in the city with its Complete Sanctuary, available as a day or overnight package.

Perfect for an intimate escape with close friends to an all-out day with the girls, the package offers exclusive use of a luxury three-bedroom penthouse suite and a personal team of therapists for the day.

Guests can choose two or three treatments from a selection including a prescription facial, hot stone massage, body wrap, Shellac manicure, and even hair or make-up, while enjoying complimentary wine or champagne and a catered buffet lunch within the comfort of their own exclusive space.

The Complete Sanctuary experience is available for between four and 15 people, from just £140 per person. Those that want to make a night of it can extend the package to an overnight stay with a private, one-bedroom suite (average price £120 per night), or two bedroom suite (average price around £229 per night).

Guests can also choose to stay over in the three bedroom penthouse, for around £399 (average price per suite per night).
