THE Avenue Shopping Centre in Newton Mearns will be at the centre of things this Easter when it gives shoppers a chance to win ten family tickets to Heads of Ayr Farm Park.

All shoppers have to do for a chance to win is to name the date on which Easter Sunday falls this year to win a great day out for all the family.

Michelle McCabe, centre manager at The Avenue, said: “Heads of Ayr Farm Park is packed with fantastic activities like indoor and outdoor play areas, an aerial runway, thrilling ringo sledging, tunnel land and the combine castle.

“With plenty to see and do, activities for all ages and almost 50 different types of animal, it really is a great day out!”

And on Easter Sunday 8th April, from 12 noon till 4.00pm, The Avenue will play host to The Mini Farm when pens containing a range of farm animals, including pygmy goats, lambs, Vietnamese pot bellied pigs, rabbits and Easter chicks, will be dotted throughout the mall.

“The Mini Farm offers a traditional farm experience providing interactive fun with a variety of farm animals,” said McCabe.

“A mobile petting farm enables people of all ages – especially children – to feed, touch, smell and hold the animals.

“And not only will shoppers be entertained with free caricatures, but popular mall mascots Newton and Fearn will be on hand to dish out free chocolate bunny lollies to the kids!”

The Avenue’s Easter competition opens on Sunday 1st April and will close at noon on Sunday 15th April. Entry forms are available throughout The Avenue and should be posted in the entry box on the mall or returned to the management office by the deadline date.
