A YOUNG employee of Aberdeen-based Aiken Group has scooped a prestigious training accolade.

Lee Youngson was recently named best third year refrigeration apprentice at the 2012 Tullos Training awards ceremony and received his certificate from guest speaker, George Yule.

Aberdeen-born Lee is a refrigeration engineer and joined Aiken Group in 2009.

Commenting on Lee’s success, Aiken Group HR manager, Christine Bateman, said: “The company has a long history of nurturing young talent in the industry and we operate an almost constant recruitment drive, offering opportunities for graduates and apprentices as frequently as possible.
