A LEADING occupational health company has welcomed a key member of staff to its growing Great Yarmouth operation.

Dr Simon Worsley MB ChB has been appointed to the role of occupational health physician at RS Occupational Health and brings to the company more than 20 years of local experience in the field.

Dr Worsley is a graduate of Bristol University Medical School and spent eight years as a medical officer in the British Army before moving to Great Yarmouth in 1987.

The news of his appointment follows a recent increase in the size of RS Occupational Health’s clinic in Great Yarmouth to cope with growing demand in the region, and services now offered by the local team include Hand Arm Vibration Syndrome (HAVS) assessments, Lead, Asbestos and Radiation medicals and MCA Seafarer Medicals (ENG1s).

Commenting on his appointment, Dr Worsley said: “I look forward to playing a part in growing RS Occupational Health’s business in the Great Yarmouth area as well as maintaining my long-standing links with the local offshore and seafaring community through my new role.”

“Dr Worsley brings with him considerable expertise in many areas and this will supplement the skills of our existing team to help to fuel future growth.”
