Media Release: France Meets the Media is back, 4-7 March: Prepare your 2013 planner to France and expect the unexpected!

The website is online, the tweets are ready and waiting, and the boards on Pinterest will make you dream – it’s official; registrations are now open.

FOR the fifth consecutive year, over 20 French press officers are coming over to Great Britain to discuss the latest news and offers in their area with the British press.

2013 will see the return of Paris, Aquitaine, the Loire Valley, Nice & Cannes, Corsica’s Premier Hotels Association besides the true regulars such as Brittany, Normandy, Rhone Alpes, Burgundy, and Languedoc Roussillon, and for the first time we will be joined by a gem from the Mediterranean coastline: Hyeres.

To prepare this annual rendezvous, build a new website, and activate all our social networks, we’ve asked our destinations a lot of questions about WHEN, WHY, WHAT, HOW, and WHERE, to get you topic inspirations for your next article.

This week we’ll get you on board for a tour of France, with a selection of what kind of events you could attend on our detailed calendar.

Next week, when you’ll know what to do and what’s happening, we’ll help you find out how to do it with ideas of where to get some shut-eye and titillate your taste buds (under accommodation and gastronomy).

So much more information about culture, the outdoors, specific packages, and future press trips will come up in the following weeks.

Keep in touch via #FMTM2013 on twitter, our blog or Pinterest, and get the main highlights including the top tens.

New this year: a raffle with a range of prizes to discover as you register, courtesy of partners such as British Airways, the Lido in Paris, the South West Wines Association, magnums of Champagne, lots of hotels and restaurants in Nice and more.
