Media Release: Dog awareness day – a date for your diary

NORTH-east-based K9 Health Centre is delighted to partner with local pet re-homing charity DAWGS, to hold a special event for all dog owners at the Beach Ballroom on Sunday 24th March.

The event has been designed to help dog owners throughout the North-wast better care for their dogs. Sandra Wilson, owner of K9 Health Centre, explained: “At K9 we are dedicated to dogs and are committed to helping them in any way possible.

“We are therefore delighted to partner DAWGS for this dog awareness day as they are pivotal in helping dogs find a new home whilst supporting their owners.”

The event will bring together a variety of specialists including vets and behaviourists, groomers, dog walkers, day care providers, food specialists and even the latest must have accessories!

There will be numerous opportunities for owners to talk to experts on a variety of topics such as care, rehabilitation, behavioural and training issues, as well as to listen to presentations from specialists in their field.

Starting at 11am, the event has plenty of opportunity for owners to take home goodies with over 30 stalls throughout the day.

Not to be missed are the doggy fashion shows scheduled for 1pm and 3pm, guaranteed to be a favourite with owners and their dogs alike.

With something for all the family and all proceeds going to DAWGS this is one event that really needs to be a date in your diary.
