Media Release: Pagoda PR makes two new appointments

TWO, new appointments by Edinburgh-based Pagoda Public Relations are set to help drive forward the company’s integrated media and public affairs work and add to the range of expertise offered by the team.

Martin Coombes joins as associate director, from AstraZeneca, to oversee Pagoda’s health care and pharma work. Callum Chomczuk joins Pagoda as a senior account manager, from Age Scotland, where he was senior policy and parliamentary officer.

Martin is a very experienced government and public affairs professional, having spent more than 20 years in the global pharmaceutical industry, most recently as Government and NHS relations manager for AstraZeneca.

He has a demonstrable record of success in shaping policy, together with an in-depth knowledge of the political, healthcare and policy environment across Scotland and the UK.

His expertise is particularly focused on healthcare policy and strategy development, strategic communications and stakeholder management.

Callum’s previous experience includes working for Social Enterprise Scotland and as policy advisor for the Scottish Liberal Democrats. He brings a detailed understanding of public policy across a number of portfolio areas including health and social care, housing and the third sector.
