Media Release: Aberdeen business women to receive expert advice

LOCAL business women will be given the chance to learn from leading experts, thanks to two sessions of master classes due to take place in Aberdeen.

Beginning on August 23rd at 96 Rosemount Viaduct in Aberdeen, Business Women Scotland magazine is to host a series of four, monthly master classes with in-demand speaker, trainer and entrepreneur, Liz Hoskin.

Liz focuses on the power of positive energy in helping organisations improve various areas including morale, sales and retention and the sessions will give delegates a helping hand to hone their skills thanks to her top tips and expert insight.

From September 10th, a second series of monthly master classes will get underway with renowned motivational speaker, Ros Taylor, an acclaimed leading psychologist, executive coach, business woman, bestselling author and TV and radio presenter.

The events at Aberdeen Exhibition & Conference Centre will examine different kinds of leader as well as using courage and charisma to forge ahead.

Also under the spotlight will be tips on how to lead with confidence as well as influencing and networking skills.

Commenting on the master classes, Business Women Scotland editor, Lynne Kennedy, said: “The business world is an increasingly competitive arena and these events offer a valuable opportunity to polish skills which may give a delegate the edge in her future career.”

Ros Taylor added: “We all know good leadership when we see it. It’s catching. It somehow creates a vibrant culture that leads to high morale and a positive impact on the bottom line. I believe that what we call ‘leadership’ is about the self-awareness of how we impact those around us and also how we think and problem solve.”

Liz Hoskin said: “These sessions will give delegates the chance to take a leap of faith and begin the next stage in their personal development journey. They will teach people how to rewire their brain for positivity to help achieve the life they deserve by taking charge and having fun at the same time.”
